I love looking through old photos of the memories we’ve made, especially at this time of year when the nights draw in and the evenings begin to get colder by the day.⠀ Here’s a photo of my daughter Rose and my niece Eva at Hemingford meadow earlier this year. We got to swim in the river, we had a picnic, and a friendly chap let my husband take the kids out on his canoe. That day will always stand out in my memory as a happy one, and hopefully it will in our children’s too.⠀ I am going to try and post more photos such as this on instagram, just so that our customers can get to know us a bit better. I’m conscious that I post a lot of product photos, and I’m not really a fan of having my own photo taken, but I will try and make the effort. When I say “effort” – it’s difficult to look even remotely “instagram glam” between taking care of our four children and spending my lunchtime fulfilling orders for all of our lovely customers – but I will try my best (with all the filters!)⠀ My business is small and I am so incredibly lucky to have such an amazingly talented photographer for a sister who does it all for for us for free.⠀ Also, I have to say a big thank you to our lovely customers and followers on social media. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, and I almost gave up on Eva & Rose earlier this year, but it’s thanks to the kind feedback from my customers and the help and support from friends and family that has really spurred me on to do my best to make it a success.⠀ AbiMama to 4 and wife to a loving husband – all in our cosy little house in Cambridgeshire.
